A Holiday in Portugal

Portugal is a fan favourite for British people, flights can only take 2 and a half hours from the UK, and the average weather is hot but not too had (around 28 degrees at the most).

Portugal’s winning combination of sandy beaches, blue waters and sunshine all year round makes it a good choice for British people. The Algarve is a popular region, and it benefits from plenty of restaurants, lively towns as well as secluded beaches and villages.

Madeira is a popular Portuguese island that has stunning gardens, tavernas, markets and high-class wine bars. There will be plenty to do and plenty of sun too.

Another option is the Porto Santo, it’s a much quieter area than the previous two, but it’s certainly becoming more appreciated. You will come across traditional roads and lanes, a long sandy beach and you won’t be pestered by thousands of tourists.
